H&M has finally open their online store. Yay! I actually have been waiting for this for awhile. To be honest, I am not too crazy about shopping at their stores because it can be kind of messy and really crowded. Beside, I do 80 percent of my shopping online so this is great. Beside apparel, they also have cosmetics and home collection. Although, I have to say, it is a bummer that customer can't return online purchase at their stores. I hope it is something they will change.

Affordable Color Women Short from Uniglo
As you know, you can now order from Uniglo online. I recently ordered a pair of Uniglo women chino short and I want to share it with you because I think they have a nice selection of color, it is well made, nice fit. Price is $19.90. I got blue, but it is more of a turquoise to me. For reference, I order a size 4, which fit perfectly; I am 5'3", 125lbs, normally wear a 4 at Old Navy, a 6 at LOFT and AE.

Adorable Seahorses Cardigan @ Target
I came across this adorable seahorses cardigan at Target last week. I am a sucker for novelty print so I had to get it. Beside the cute print, I think the material is a bargain for the price (on sale for $15), regular price is $22.99. You can see this and other pattern cardigans here.

Comfortable and Chic Spring/Summer Style
As I mentioned before, I am a somewhat new stay at home mom. When I first stayed home, two things I soon realized. The first thing was how sedentary my life was when I had a 9-5 desk job. The second is I need a new wardrobe. My pencil skirts and slack pants no longer fit my new lifestyle (running errands and chasing after a baby). I need something comfortable, easy to move around, but still look good and chic. Although this may be my everyday wear, I am sure it will fit into your casual Friday and weekend wear.
(Gap) Lets start with a no brainer item, a shirt dress. Thrown on a sandle or flat and you have an outfit. If you want more, throw on a belt to give yourself a little shape.
(Joe Fresh) You can't talk about comfort without the mention of a basic t-shirt. It is easy to expand and spice up your basic tee collection this season with stripes and floral.
(Old Navy) Printed short. I am sure we all have some plain t-shirt laying around. Pair that with a printed short and you have a cute, effortless look.
(Loft) My all time favorite, Maxi dress. They are feminine and comfortable...enough of a reason.
(JCrew) Color bottom. Color and print pant expand your wardrobe and they are generally more comfortable than skirt. No need to worry too much when you have to bend over to pick up something, you know what I mean.
(Camper) Ditch the heels and stick to flat. I actually own this Camper Casi Casi pair and at first, I was not sure if it is worth it (price at $145). However, after a few weeks, I realize since it is neutral, it is very versatile, goes with almost everything and it is also really comfy.
(Nordstrom) Last but not least, the essential cross body bag. There are so many pretty color for Spring and Summer and much more comfortable than shoulder bag, trust me.

DIY Baby Tutu
My baby girl turned 1. I am not a crafty person but I am a proud mama, I want to make her something special for her birthday. I decided to make her a Tutu. Tutu is just freaking adorable on babies.
I am not going to write a tutorial because there are already many tutorials available online. However, I am going to give you some tips if you are planning on making one yourself. I think these will help answer any questions and make your project goes more smoothly.
Tip #1 - I have never worked with Tulle before so I had no idea what to get. You can get 6 inches wide spool. You will need two spools of 25 yards, 50 total for one baby skirt. I didn't use up both spools but one was not enough. I ordered mine from Deana's Craft on Etsy. Her price is great and super fast shipping.
Tip #2 - Tulle is harder to cut then I though because they stick together if you try to layer one on top of another. The best and fastest way is to wrap them around a cardboard. To see what I mean, you can check out this tutorial.
Tip #3 - As you tie your tulle, that eats up fabric, so add 2 inches to whatever length you want the skirt to be. For example, if you want your skirt to be 8 inches long then you would do 8x2+2=18. (The reason you do times 2 is because you fold your tulle in half as you tie them) I didn't add an extra 2 inches and my daughter's tutu came out shorter than I wanted it :(
Tip #4 - Your elastic band will stretch as you tie the tulle. Therefore, whatever the waist size it, minus that by 2 to 3 inches and that should be the length of the elastic band.
I hope this help. You can also embellish your tutu with ribbon like I did or flowers, bows, etc. If you are making one, do leave a comment and let me know your experience. Would love to see some pictures as well. Also, if you have any other tips, do share :)
Happy Crafting!

Haul from France
I apologize for the lack of post lately. I have had back to back travels, France and then a spa retreat, that left me no time for much else. I am just glad to be back home, in my own bed again.
I did bring back some beauty products. I did not shop as much as I thought I would. Sight seeing took up most of our time. Plus, there was a lot of walking everywhere you go so it was just not that convenience lugging things around.
I have been wanting to try Bioderma Crealine H20 for awhile. It is a makeup remover that a few people on YouTube recommended. The middle bottle is a Nuxe Reve de Miel, a facial cleanser for dry and sensitive skin. The bottle on the right is Avene Eau Thermal Spray. Obviously I will be reviewing these once I get a chance to test them out.
This is Avene's sensitive line Eye Cream, it is only $11 Euros which is like $15 Dollars, great price.
Blush from Bourjois.
Ever since I am pregnant, I am very sensitive to sense. I stop wearing perfume. I tried this one out and it was very light, fresh rose scent so I bought it as a gift for my mom (she does not like anything strong either).
I also bought a few things in the clothing department. I fell in love with these boots immediately, I think they are perfect for welcoming Fall.
Next up, I'll try to post some scenery and attraction photos.

Cross Shoulder Bag and Women Boat Shoes
I was looking for a grab and go bag to wear during vacation. In my experience, a cross shoulder bag is just much more comfortable to wear when you have to be all over town. I purchased this Urban Expressions Zip Messanger Bag from DSW for $49.95.
I was also looking for a comfortable walking shoes that is NOT a sneaker so I decided to pick this Keds Rapture Boat Shoes. I was a bit iffy because I am not into boat shoes but these are actually cute. I wore it around the house and they are quite comfortable too; nicely paded and doesn't feel like they need to be breaking into.
This is what it look like online - brown color.
I got this is grey which is unfortunately sold out. However, they still have the brown and black available. I think it's so cute and has a very urban vibe. It looks good with skinny jean, legging, and dresses too. Below is what it looks like in person.I love the added femininity touch of lace fabric lining.

Okay, I am ready for vacation now! What are your plans for the summer?

Party Time! This Season Cocktail Dresses
I don't normally post about fashion, but it is the holiday season and that means lots and lots of holiday parties. Aside from gorgeous makeup, throwing on a cocktail dress and a pair of heels translates to instant sex appeal. Cocktail dress is particularly flattering for petite figures like myself.

Flowers anyone? BCBG PLEATED-ORGANZA BUSTIER DRESS $648.00

BCBG TIERED-TULLE DRESS $348.00

BCBG ASYMMETRICAL SHIRRED-TULLE DRESS $398.00. Yes, can you tell by now that I like BCBG?

Lipsy One Shoulder Pleated Dress 50 Pounds
Lipsy is a UK clothing company. Bloomingdale's carries this brand and their online site also ship to the US for 8 Pounds. When ordering online, note that their size run really small. For reference, I am a petite 2 at most stores like Ann Taylor Loft, Banana, etc. and I wear size 8 in Lipsy dress.
